DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION: The Program in Criminal Justice at Washington State University, Pullman Campus, announces one non-tenure track position search on a three year contract, renewable on good performance, at the level of Clinical Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice, with appointment beginning August 16, 2010.  A Ph. D. in Criminal Justice or a related social science field will be required by 8/15/2010. The position will have a 3/3 course teaching load based on a semester system.

QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidates will be expected to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses and, as part of the normal teaching load, participate in teaching technology-based distance learning courses; participate in the supervision and mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students; and engage in the normal service activities for the Program, College, University, and local and professional communities. APPLICATIONS: Candidates must provide a letter of application summarizing their qualifications and  teaching interests, a current curriculum vitae, three current letters of recommendation, transcripts, teaching evaluations (if available), and any other optional supporting materials (e.g., conference papers, evidence of teaching effectiveness).   Address inquiries and applications to:
